| MP: BJP Govt to Take Oath on December 12 | | | AGENCIES BHOPAL, DEC 9: The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh will be sworn in on December 12 at Jamboori Maidan here. According to party sources, the government will be sworn in on December 12 at around 1430 hours at the Jamboori Maidan in the BHEL area. The party's newly elected MLAs will take part in the State Legislature Party meeting to be held tomorrow to elect their leader. The party has already projected the incumbent Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as its chief ministerial candidate and his re-election for the top post is merely a formality, the sources said. BJP has bagged 143 seats out of 230 in the assembly polls and all the newly-elected MLAs have started arriving in the state capital to take part in tomorrow's meeting. Former BJP President and Madhya Pradesh election incharge M Venkaiah Naidu and the party's General Secretary incharge of the state Anant Kumar will also attend the BJP Legislature Party meeting. |
