7/21/2022 10:53:10 PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the efforts of the health workers for administering 200 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccines to the citizens.
He has termed it as a milestone which the coming generations will be proud of.
The health workers fought the Covid like valiant soldiers and ensured that they reached everywhere to provide jabs to the people so that the virus could be defeated.
Vaccinators, healthcare workers and support staff, and frontline workers played a crucial role in protecting the people of the country.
The Prime Minister by acknowledging their role and by expressing gratitude to the health workers has sent a message that the entire country is indebted to them and the work done by them will be remembered by one and all.
After the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in the country in 2020, doctors, health workers and others put their lives at stake to save the common people. Initially they had to fight Covid without being aware about how the virus would behave. In the process many health workers got infected and even lost their lives.
The virus kept on spreading fear till the vaccine arrived and the health workers embarked on the mission to defeat it.
From the coldest mountains to the hottest deserts, from faraway villages to dense forests, the health workers carried forward the mission of carrying out COVID-19 vaccination programme. They left none behind and showed that “New India” excels in last-mile delivery.
The speed at which the vaccination drive was carried out left the world surprised. India led from the front and set an example to fight the pandemic.
The Prime Minister in a letter addressed to the health workers has written that the achievement of 200 crore vaccine doses showcases the strength of the democratic, compassionate and service-oriented ethos of our nation.
“The story of India’s courage to deliver during a crisis will be cherished by generations to come. My best wishes to you and your family! Jai Hind!” PM Modi has written.
The Prime Minister has thanked health workers on the behalf of the entire nation.
The country is indebted to them as they have proven it beyond doubt that sincerity and dedication holds the key.
