Jammu, July 24: World Sanskrit Day celebrations are being organized by Srikailakh Astrology and Vedic Sansthan Trust on Sunday, August 7. A meeting in this regard was held on Sunday at Karbanda, Bhalwal, Jammu. On this occasion, former Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Government and State BJP Deputy President Sham Lal Sharma said that with the development of Devvani Sanskrit, not only will India's dream of becoming a world guru be realized, the world will also move on the path of holistic development with peace. The culture of doing and being cultured from Sanskrit awakens world peace and social development even in today's era. History is witness that from ancient times to modern times, India never invaded the land of any other country. Such events will boost the morale of Sanskrit lovers.
On this occasion, the Director Agriculture K K Sharma informed that on the occasion of 'World Sanskrit Day' on August 07, 2022 from 04 PM to 06 PM at Majestic Grand, Resort, Purkhu, There will be a grand event in which the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology, Jammu and Agriculture Fair will be organized in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture.
Mahant Rohit Shastri, head of Srikailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust, said that the script of Sanskrit language is Devanagari script. This language was chosen by the sages to compose the mantras because the pronunciation of the words of this language was very effective for generating proper vibrations in the brain. The Vedas appeared in this language, and the Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranas were composed. Sanskrit literature is the richest and richest in human history. And the main reason for organizing this program is to promote Devvani Sanskrit.
During this, famous Dogra poet Randhir Singh (Raipuria) and famous weight lifter Mannu Khajuria were honored.
Professor Madan Mohan Jha, Director, Center Sanskrit University Jammu Campus, Sat Pal Sharma, Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, Rajdev Singh, Sarpanch of Bhalwal, Advocate Pawan Khajuria, Rakesh Gandotra, were present on the occasion. Pandit Dev Dutt Shastri, Ankush, Indian Red Cross Society, Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Sunil Singh (Raipuria), Professor Sharat Sharma, Dr. Yogendra Dixit, Anil Padha, Vijay Kumar Sharma, Master Raj Kumar, Nigam Gupta, Jagdev Singh Chib, Manmohan Singh Jamwal, Vijay Seth, Uttam Chand Sharma, Rajan Sharma, Somil Abrol, Rakesh Kumar, Happy Singh and other trust members were present.
