| Congress failed to deliver on ground, alleges Rehman | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 10: Intensifying the election campaign of Sheikh Mohammed Shafi from Bhaderwah constituency, President state unit of Samajwadi party Sheikh Abdul Rehman addressed series of meetings at different places in the constituency including Gandoh Bhalessa and made a scathing attack on congress party for its misrule in the state. Rehman said that Azad led government has failed to provide any relief to the people of the far flung areas of the Doda district so far their development is concerned. He said the party which is boosting on its developments during its rule is nothing but a paper tiger alone adding that no development worth the name is visible on the ground. Saying that Azad is just contesting election for his eventful shift to Delhi as he has failed to deliver on the ground in the state, Sheikh urged the electorate to reject the opportunist politicians and vote for SP for balanced and equitable development of the state especially neglected and backward areas. He said the people have been taken for a ride during the last 60 years by the traditional parties on false, concocted and hollow slogans adding that such slogans could no do away with backwardness, huger and unemployment of the area. Kewal Singh Manhas district secretary, Noor Mohammed Rather and Bhagat Swami Raj also addressed the gathering. |
