7/26/2022 10:49:24 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 26: The package employees assembled in the office premises of the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) Canal Road Jammu and held an impressive demonstration in favour of their only and genuine demand of relocation/shifting to Jammu division under the banner of All Migrant (Displaced) Employees Association Kashmir (AMEAK). The hundreds of the angry and irate package employees braving scorching heat and humid temperature, holding national flags in their hands shouted slogans in favour of their demand of attachment with the Relief Commissioner's office Jammu. The leaders of the package employees emphasized and said that the centre government & the LG administration is paying a deaf ear towards the genuine demand of their shifting to Jammu till the situation limps back to normal in Kashmir. Meanwhile, the counterparts of the package employees in Sheikhpora Budgam assembled in large numbers to protest and blocked the airport road in Humhama for pressing their demand of relocation to Jammu. The package employees in Jammu opined that the LG administration has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Principle Secretary GAD to look after the transfer policy of the protesting reserved category employees and it is a welcome development and demanded formation of the similar committee to look into the genuine demand of their relocation/attachment to the Relief Commissioner's office Jammu.
