| ‘NC to take State towards peace, prosperity’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 10: Peace, prosperity, and development is among the top most agenda of the National Conference and party after coming to power will usher a new era of development in the state, which remained neglected during the six years of the most unfortunate rule of the coalition government led by Congress and PDP, said Chowdhary Arshad National Conference Gujjar leader while addressing series of election meetings in Kathua assembly constituency in support of Ravinder Singh Slathia party's candidate from Kathua.
Arshad accompanied by Ch. Bashir Ahmed Khatana and Chowdhary Zaqir urged the people not to fall in the trap of parties like Congress, PDP and BJP who did nothing to show to the people of the state barring false promises and hollow slogans.
Arshad alleged "The people of the state were forced to face the brunt of internal differences between the coalition alliance", he said adding that National Conference after coming to power will earnestly work towards addressing the problems being faced by the common people and will ensure that their problems are minimized to the maximum extent".
"I urge the people of the area to come forward and vote in favour of National Conference candidates, who he said will work for their welfare, wellbeing and development of the constituency, he appealed. |
