| Bali accuses coalition of neglecting old city | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 10: Pledging to work for the upliftment and welfare of the people of the constituency, Pardeep Bali NC candidate from Jammu East lambasted the coalition partners for neglecting the heart of the city in every sphere during their six years rule, which he said is unfortunate. While intensifying his campaign Bali addressed series of election meetings in Ward No. 7, Ward No. 3, Ward No.1 and Rani Talab, besides conducting door to door campaign. Addressing the election meetings at these places Bali urged the people to come forward and vote in his favour."The constituency depicts the traditional color of our cultural heritage and lot has to be done for the development of the constituency", he said. Bali said if voted to Assembly he will work for the overall development of the constituency and ensure opening of new avenues for the young unemployed youth of the area, who have suffered badly due to the callous attitude of the coalition regime. He said "I had a dream for the over all development of my constituency and for that matter, I need your overwhelming support". Among others who were present in the meetings were S.M. Gill, ex-MLC, Rashida Begum, Waris Gill, Asif Gill, Parbath Kapahi, Ashiq Hussain, Amit Dutta and Baj Singh. |
