JAMMU, Dec 10: BJP candidate from Raipur- Domana constituency, Bharat Bhushan (Bodhi), today undertook door to door campaign, visiting Roop Nagar, Chinore and Bantalab areas in the outskirts of Jammu city, under Raipur-Domana (Reserved) constituency.
As per a release the BJP candidate got a good response from the electorates, particularly the members of Kashmiri Pandit community inhabiting Roop Nagar, Chinore and Bantalab areas of Jammu city. They agreed with Bharat Bhushan and other BJP leaders accompanying him that BJP alone had extended helping hand to the displaced community, at a time when it migrated from Kashmir, hounded out by Islamic terrorists and fundamentalists from their homes and hearths. The BJP has always stood by the Kashmiri migrants, while the ruling parties in the state have all though ignored their miserable plight, the release added. |
