| RKSP leader addresses series of meetings | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 10: Ghulam Qadar Ding, vice president J&K State Unit of Rashtriya Krantikari Samajwadi Party, today addressed to largely attended public meetings, one each at Sidhra and Khanpur Nagrota. As per a release, inhabitants of these areas complained of deplorable conditions and lack of basic necessities in the area. The villagers are facing acute shortage of drinking water, while power cuts are effected for 12 to 13 hours daily. The residents also complaint of non availability of food ration from the government managed ration depots. While the ration from the public distribution system is being sold in black in the marked, the ration card holders are forced to purchase ration in black market. Ding criticized their former MLA, Jugal Kishore Sharma of BJP of doing nothing for the betterment of its people. Ajatshatru Singh, of National Conference, who was elected from Nagrota in 1996 assembly election and remained Cabinet Minister for six years in Farooq Abdullah government also blatantly ignored his electorates the release added. |
