| Varinder appeals Sikhs vote for BJP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 10: Visiting to holy ‘Nankana Sahib’ in Pakistan is first and for most duty of every Sikh during his life time, said senior leader of BJP, Sardar Varinder Jeet Singh at a press conference held here today. He said earlier J&K sikhs were not allowed to visit any Gurudwara in Pakistan, but due to the sincere efforts of ex. union minister of defence Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta the issue of J&K Sikhs was raised in Lok Sabha, and added due to this Sikhs of J&K state are visiting various Gurudwaras in Pakistan. He said all this happened during the prime ministership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Singh said, beside this BJP of which Prof. Gupta is are important worker has done number of works for the Sikhs, which are countless. He said BJP always worked for the upliftment of Sikhs in the country and spent crores of suffers for welfare of Sikhs in the country. He said it because necessary for every Sikh to vote in favour of BJP candidates which include Prof. Chamana Lal Gupta, contesting from Jammu west assembly constituency. President in the conference were S. Harvinder Singh, S. Kuldeep Singh Khokhar, Gurcharan Singh Sudan, and Amarjit Singh etc. |
