| Committee to uplift poor: Bhalla | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 10: Claiming that state witnessed phenomenal development during Azad led coalition government, Congress leader and its contesting candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, Raman Bhalla has said that his party would uplift the downtrodden and poor sections of society. Addressing series of public meetings across his constituency, Bhalla said that deteriorating condition of poor and downtrodden was the result of mis-governance by successive dispensations since independence. He said that his party would make every endeavor to create avenues for the benefit of poor and downtrodden across the state adding that the party did commendable job in just two and a half year period and would continue with same commitment and enthusiasm if voted to power. Criticizing BJP and NC, Bhalla said that both the parties were playing cheap politics without worrying about the repercussions and trying to divide the society on communal or regional lines,” he said and added that the leaders of these political parties were misleading the people for their political gains. |
