Three courses commence at SKPA Udhampur

JAMMU, Aug 2: Three courses including course on "Investigation of Heinous Crimes", training programme on "Cyber Forensics" and "Establishment course" commenced at the Academy. 55 officers/officials from J&K are participating. An inaugural function was organised in the Academy where senior officers and staff of the Academy were present.
Mohan Lal, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor) SKPA, formally inaugurated the courses. In his address the SSP welcomed the participants and conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the Director SKPA. While reiterating the agenda of the courses he made a short brief of the courses on different themes. The courses on investigation of heinous crimes and cyber forensics are aimed at capacity building of investigators to effectively investigate the heinous crimes including offences against body, homicides, blast injuries, post blast examination of scene of crime, methodology of collecting digital evidence, e-mail tracking, cyber pornography etc.
As far as the training programme basic establishment course is concerned, the SSP laid special emphasis on the participants of the course to be dedicated while attending the training programme as they have to deal with the office work and other service related matters in the organisation so that the desired objectives of the course can be achieved.
