Anti-defacement campaign launched in R. S. Pura

R. S. Pura, Dec 11: An anti-defacement campaign has been launched in R. S. Pura Assembly constituency under the supervision of Returning Officer (RO) of the constituency, Ms. Sheetal Nanda.
The anti- defacement team comprises CDPO R. S. Pura, AEE PDD, AE PWD and SHOs of R. S. Pura and Miran Sahib police stations.
During the week-long campaign, the team in collaboration with Municipal Committee, R. S. Pura removed banners and flags of various political parties and contestants from the public property.
The campaign has been held so far at Main Bazar, R. S. Pura, Chohalla, Tanda, Maralian, Chak Mohammad Yaar, Teenday Kalan, Kullian, Ban Sultan, Keer Pind and Mumka.
Meanwhile, the RO has issued instructions regarding display of hoardings and flags and the use of loudspeakers during the election campaign.
