| CC renews poll boycott campaign | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Dec 11: Coordination Committee, spearheading the present movement in Kashmir, reiterated "Jehan Chunav Waha Challo," on Thursday and urged people to hold peaceful protests after Friday prayers. "Coordination Committee appeal people to hold peaceful sit-in protests outside mosques after the Friday prayers," a statement issued here said.
According to the statement, Coordination Committee urged the people to observe complete shutdown across the Valley on Saturday, in view of fifth phase of ongoing polls in the state. The fifth phase polls are going to be held at Pulwama and Shopian district on December 13.
The CC spokesman said that they appeal people to march towards the respective areas were polls are being held on Saturday and urge residents of Pulwama and Shopian to boycott polls like their counterparts in Sopore and Baramulla. |
