| DPN capable of serving state efficiently: Khosa | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 11: Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) leader contesting from Jammu West constituency, K.K Khosa has said that his party was the only alternative at a time when successive governments failed to bring peace, prosperity and development in the state since independence.
Addressing various public meetings across Jammu West constituency, Khosa said that none of the dispensations could perform up to the expectations of people as a result of which, the state instead of taking strides towards prosperity retreated towards miseries and trouble.
The inefficient policies since independence have only given rise to despair and the ongoing violence across the state is the result of these very policies, he said.
Criticizing BJP, he said that it is the party which has always been vociferous for the cause of Jammu but watched every thing as mute spectator when Jammu was discriminated even when BJP was in power at center.
“The leaders of the BJP have only given speeches and slogans to the people of Jammu,” he said and added that when Jammu was discriminated by NC regime, the BJP watched everything as mute spectator.
He further said that BJP members remained silent in State legislature when National Conference brought a bill deferring the recommendations of Delimitation Commission till 2026. |
