JAMMU, Aug 11: In the sequel of Sanskrit mass awareness campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, under the joint aegis of Central Sanskrit University Jammu and Sri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, a program was organized today at Kameshwar temple in Akhnoor under Sanskrit week. On this occasion, 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' was organized by the Sanskrit Shobhayatra and the National Service Scheme Unit of the campus. Sham Lal Sharma, State Vice President of BJP, Jammu and Kashmir, was the chief guest of the program, he said on this occasion that in today's time, Sanskrit is the only language that works to connect everyone, We are proud of the language of our nation. Mahamandaleshwar Shri Rameshwar Das ji, the guest of honor of the program, said that Sanskrit is the language of connecting all. KK Sharma, Director Agriculture department Jammu was also present as the special guest of the program. In his Presidential address, the director of Shri Ranbir Campus of Central Sanskrit University Prof. Madan Mohan Jha expressed that our university is working continuously for the upliftment of Sanskrit Language. The only objective is to make Sanskrit the language of the people, in the same episode, all of us are also working for its promotion under the Sanskrit week.
Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Trust also spoke on the occassion and stressed upon the need for the upliftment of Sanskit language .
University students performed Vethi Natak in Sanskrit at Kameshwar Temple complex.On this occasion, Dr. Anayamani Tripathi of the Veda department of Sri Ranbir campus and Dr. Pramod Shukla of the Department of Education, as well as Shri Arvind Badu were honoured by Shri kaliakh Jyotish and Vedic sansthan trust for their remarkable contribution in the field of Sanskrit. On this occasion, officials of Shri Kailakh Trust Uttam Chand Sharma, Harsh Sharma, Pradeep Sharma, Pandit Sunny, Neeraj Sharma and other dignitaries were present. Students and volunteers of Central Sanskrit University along with Dr. Madan Kumar Jha, Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Dr. Yogendra Dixit, Vishal Mahajan, Dr. Rajkumar Mishra, Dr. Yashwant Trivedi, Dr. Naveen Tiwari,Pradeep Mishra were also present from the university campus.
