| Vote Congress for regional balance: Madan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
AKHNOOR, Dec 11: Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma has said that Congress alone can remove the regional imbalance and ensure equitable development of all parts of the state, besides establishing permanent peace in Jammu and Kashmir state.
Addressing a series of meetings at Dhara, Ardan, Kathar, Manon etc places of Akhnoor constituency, Sharma said that state has witnessed massive development during Congress led regime in the state under the Chiefministership of Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said both central and state govt took various measures for the welfare of people of the state especially the poor sections, farmers and other weaker sections of the society. He asked the people of the state to give their mandate to congress party in order to carry forward the developmental works as well as other welfare schemes for the people of the state.
He said that most of the problems of people of Akhnoor constituency have been ameliorated in the last five and half years. But there are problems of unemployment which could not be fulfilled due to non-cooperation of the alliance partners in the Government. He appreciated the work of ex-MLA, Sham Lal Sharma who nourished the constituency excellently and appealed to the voters to elect him again in order to complete the developmental workers started by him. |
