EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 11: Complimenting the members of ‘Adbi-Kunj’ on the success of ‘Tarahi Mushaira’ in collaboration with J&K cultural academy its president Sham Talib said, Late O.P Sharma, ‘Saarthi’ was a great literary personality of the state and was also the founder member of the Adbi-Kunj. On the occasion two condolence resolutions were also adopted over the sad demise of two well know Kashmiri poet and secular Dr. Altaf Niaz and Abdul Gani Nadeem who passed away recently. As usual Kunj also organized story and poetic recitation session which among others was attended by Jaswant Sing, Susheel Begana, Ayodhaya Rani Gamkhar, Rajeshwar Bhakri, Talib Kashmir, Zeenat Firdous, A.L Ganjoo, Sehar Ganderbali, Maharaj Krishan, Baldi Zutshi, Rajeev Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Tript, K. L Deewana, Rajeev Kumar. As per press release Adbi-Kunj in collaboration with ‘Navi Dogri Santha’ on December 14 is going to honour Sham Talib for his outstanding contribution to urdu literature and poetry. |
