DDC Rajouri conducts Field Tour, inspects progress of developmental projects

RAJOURI, Aug 14: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal conducted a day long tour of the district and inspected the progress of development works coming up in different parts of the District.
Accompanied by District Officers of Jal Shakti, PHE Division Rajouri and Rural Development Department, the DC visited Panchayat Badhoon-A, Panchayat Upper Dhangri, Panchayat Saranoo, Panchayat Godhar and Kesargala. During the tour of these areas, the Development Commissioner discussed the component wise projects proposed under JJM in original and revised Detail Project Reports. He inspected the feasibility of the project sites.
After detailed review of components of projects proposed under JJM for Retrofitting of water supply scheme at Badhoon-A, Retrofitting of Water Scheme Upper Dhangri and Water Supply Scheme Godhar, Amritsrover at Kesargala, the Officers of the Department were directed to start the work on war footing basis. The Executive Engineer PHE Mechanical, Ground water Drilling Division Jammu was asked to allot the Bore wells immediately to execute work on the schemes after development of source.
The DDC also inspected the Higher Secondary School Dhangri and interacted with the staff and students. He directed the staff to ensure punctuality and installation of biometric machines for daily attendance.
