Art of Living conducts happiness course as part of Anand Utsav Pan India

JAMMU, Aug 22: Over thousands of AOL centers at hundreds of locations Pan India organized The Art of Living's signature happiness programs with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji. As a part of Anand Utsav The Art of Living conducted happiness course at AOL Centre at Dr Mangi's Hall, College Road Kathua, Jammu Jnk last week which ran for 6 days The Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's unique Sudarshan Kriya was taught in the workshop conducted by AOL Kathua chapter in which devotees across the district participated. Touching upon the various aspects of modern living, Gurudev shared a few practical principles for healthier and happier living in live session. Sharing wisdom with humor, participants learnt the skills to keep their energy high, maintain equanimity and enhance productivity
A very dedicated team of the Art of Living teachers Bhagwati Prasad, Meenakshi Devi, Dr Nitin Sharma, Apporva Mansotra, Shivalika Sharma took the sessions and a dedicated team of volunteers assisted in successful completion of the programme. Apart from the powerful breathing techniques- Yoga, Pranayama and meditation, the program also had interactive wisdom sessions that provided practical life tools to handle any difficult or stressful situation in life. People from different walks of life participated and experienced a tremendous relief from ailments, emotional imbalance and physical fitness issues. Art of Living teacher Dr Nitin Sharma informed that the six days course was conducted to give insight to the life skills necessary for the well-being of human kind. He said that the unique breathing technique taught during the workshop eliminates stress, fatigue and negative emotions such as anger, frustration and depression, leaving one calm yet energized, focused yet relaxed with resultants of reduced heart rate and blood pressure.
The result is at the end of the program, people experienced a peaceful, stable, joyful state of mind and a sense of connection with everyone around. The program, a blend of trend and tradition, offers practical tools for people to sustain their energy, happiness and help face the challenges of today's fast-paced world. The Sudarshan Kriya is a rhythmic breathing technique which removes deep-seated stressful toxins from the body. Many report feeling calmer, happier and more rested than before. In last many participants shared their experiences and found it one of the best courses for learning life skills and meditation. "It was a truly wonderful experience to learn the simple tenets of joyful living. I feel very relaxed, calm, optimistic and happy after attending the program," "I have never felt so energized before! The Sudarshan Kriya was an amazing experience. The workshop taught practical techniques to combat feelings of low self-esteem, interpersonal conflicts and violence. I feel it's extremely relevant in modern times" are few experiences as shared by participants.
