ADGP Security J&K visits Central Pool Security Line DPL Jammu

JAMMU, Aug 22: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Security J&K, Dr. S.D Singh Jamwal, today visited Security Central Pool Jammu where he inaugurated a newly constructed park inside the Security Line premises and dedicated to Shaheed Dy. SP Manjeet Singh, who laid down his life while fighting with militants at Poonch in the year 2003.
After the inauguration of the park, the ADGP held a brief discussion with the supervisory officers and took stock of the functioning of security Central Pool Jammu. He congratulated the participants for the duties performed by them during one and half month long Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra which concluded without any untoward incident.
Similarly, the officers and jawans were also congratulated for their dedication and devotion towards duties performed by them for peaceful conduct of Independence Day Celebrations-2022.
A Darbar of Jawans and officers was held at Central Pool, Security Jammu in order to know their grievances/problems being faced while performing security duties.
Addressing the Darbar, the ADGP Security J&K briefed the Jawans and officers to work professionally and without compromising the security norms.
Later, the ADGP assured Jawans & Officers that their problems shall be redressed on priority.
Earlier, Swarn Singh Kotwal, SSP Security Jammu, welcomed the ADGP Security and briefed the Officer regarding functioning of Security Line Jammu.
Among others, Ranjit Singh Sambyal, SSP (Tech); Ashok Kumar Sharma, SSP, Commandant JKAP 4th Security Jammu; R.P Singh, SSP (SO to ADGP Security); Kulbir Singh, Commandant IR-18th Bn; Ramnish Kumar, SP Hqrs. Jammu; Nasir Ahmed, Shaheen Wahid, Add1.SSP Security Jammu; Khaliq Hussain, Dy. SP Security; Shewatambri Sharma, Dy. SP Security; Mahesh Sharma, Dy. SP Security; K.D Bhagat, Dy. SP DAR DPL and other officers /Jawans of Security Jammu were also present on the occasion.
