| PK welcomes measures against terrorism | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec12- Panun Kashmir, a premiere organization of exiled Kashmiri Pandits, on Friday, welcomed the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh's initiative of setting Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) to tackle threat of terrorism in India.
Panun Kashmir also welcomed national consensus on international terrorism and hailed it as positive development.
Addressing media persons here today, Panun Kashmir Chairman, Dr Ajay Charungo while welcoming the idea of setting up of Federal Investigative Agency to deal with the menace of terrorism said Mumbai terror attack has moved political class in India and for the first time he is seeing positive developments happening on one platform. He said Panun Kashmir also welcome the very idea of unitedly fighting menace of terrorism.
He said this federal agency will boost morale of our security forces and give them authority to nail perpetrators of terror as per the law. Dr Charungo told media persons that after Mumbai terror attack even UPA government has changed its line on terrorism and addressing contradictions. Previously UPA government held that even Pakistan was one of the victims of terror but Mumbai attack has proved that the Pakistani land and men were used to mount such an audacious attack on India and for the first India has directly held Pakistan responsible for the terror act with authentic proof and described it as a positive development.
