KARGIL, DECEMBER 12: Deputy Commissioner Leh, who is also Chief Executive Officer, LAHDC, Kargil, Satesh Nehru today informed that Indian Air Force would soon operate AN-32 Courier flight from Kargil to Srinagar and Jammu to facilitate people of Kargil.
Nehru, informed that four flights are expected to be operated from Kargil as per schedule i.e Monday, Kargil-Srinagar and vice versa, Tuesday, Kargil-Jammu and vice versa, Thursday, Kargil-Srinagar and vice versa and Saturday, Kargil-Jammu and vice versa. Besides, from January 2009, six flights are expected to be operated from Kargil as per schedule i.e Monday Kargil-Srinagar and vice versa, Tuesday Kargil-Jammu and vice versa, Wednesday Kargil-Srinagar and vice versa, Thursday Kargil-Jammu and vice versa, Friday Kargil-Srinagar and Saturday Kargil-Jammu and vice versa.
