JAMMU, Aug 25: With the multiple efforts and initiative of Prof. J. P. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, a COVID 19 Vaccination Programme (Special Drive) started today on the Main Campus, Chatha, SKUAST-Jammu. The drive was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Dr. Sumati Sharma, First Lady of SKUAST-Jammu in presence of Guest of Honour Dr. Sumir Koul, Block Medical Officer, Suhanjana and Dr. Rajesh Katoch, DSW, SKUAST-Jammu.
The programme was organized by Health Centre (Dean Students Welfare), SKUAST-Jammu in collaboration with the Health Department, Jammu.
Dr. Sumati Sharma appreciated the efforts of Health Centre (Dean Students Welfare) of SKUAST-Jammu for organizing the drive and said that SKUAST-Jammu administration is very particular that 100 per cent employees and students of the University are fully vaccinated. More than 200 people were vaccinated and benefitted from this drive. Dr. Sumati Sharma while congratulating organizers for initiating the Vaccination drive said the COVID vaccination is very important and the first step to contain the spread of Corona infection. Dr. Sumir Koul, Block Medical Officer, Suhanjana coordinated with Dr. Anil Gupta and Dr. Sushma Gupta. |
