JAMMU, Aug 25: Commemorating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav India @75 NSS GGM Science College under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan organized an awareness program SVEEP as per the instructions of Chief Electoral Officer, Jammu and Kashmir through District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Jammu. The SVEEP team headed by District Education Planning Officer, Devinder Singh Manhas (Nodal Officer), Manmeet Bali, Principal GHSS R.S Pura, Dr. Ajay Singh Manhas, Dr. Paramjeet Kour, Sushil Hitaishi, Poonam Gandotra, Sugandh (Sr. Lecturers) and Darshan Sharma Teacher. NSS volunteers Pulkit, Himanshu, Sanchit, Rimjhim, Aaghav, Parveen presented their views beautifully. They elaborated the different forms Form 6, 7 and 8 to be filled and linking of voters card with adhar card. The Introduction to SVEEP, awareness about voting, importance of elections, sensitizing the new voters regarding various forms related to addition, correction, deletion, etc., information and technical aspects of EVM and VVPAT, Pledge were the main highlights of the program.
