PAGD honeymoon was bound to end as it toed secessionist ideology, befooled Kashmiris: Kavinder
8/25/2022 10:56:35 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 25: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta asserted that the PAGD honeymoon was bound to end sooner than later as it was created to befool the people by toeing the secessionism and discouraging elements to satiate the vested interests of its constituents. He slammed the constituent political party leaders of People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) for trying to befool the people of the Valley by creating this alliance against Jammu and its people.
In a statement issued here today, the former Deputy Chief Minister said that the conspiracy of the Valley based political parties has finally come to a virtual end with the decision of National Conference to contest Assembly elections on its own in all the 90 Assembly constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir whenever the elections are held. He said that the statement of former CM Omar Abdullah the other day in Srinagar while announcing the decision was full of sarcasm for the other parties in the alliance which amply proves the zero worth of the said alliance.
Kavinder said that BJP had right from the day of formation of PAGD asserted that the alliance is a gang of Valley based politicians created solely against the Nationalist section of this Union Territory in support of the separatist elements who were responsible for promoting terrorism and secessionism ideology in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
The senior BJP leader said that PAGD was created only and only for the personal interests of the constituents besides keeping the terrorists and their lords across the border in good books and such a conglomerate was bound to disband sooner than later as predicted by the BJP and reiterated time and again by its leaders thus vindicating the BJP's assertion. He said that the height of the double speak and political bankruptcy of Jammu based Shiv Sena came to fore when this party also attended the last PAGD meeting in Srinagar supporting the unholy gang. He said that parties like Shiv Sena which failed to attain any political space in the Jammu region just for coming into prominence in the Valley impliedly joined the PAGD gang for satiating its petty interests. He asserted that no alliance based on selfishness can last long and the same has been proved in case of PAGD.
The senior BJP leader stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are mature enough to see through the real motives and intentions behind the working and functioning of political parties which can no more befool them too many of the times. He said that people fully acknowledge the contributions of the Bharatiya Janata Party in serving them selflessly and its Govt displaying the genuine face of good governance across the nation and especially in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
While exuding confidence and trust in the people of J&K, Kavinder asserted that there is no doubt that in the upcoming Assembly elections, BJP will win with a heavy mandate to form the first representative Government in this Union Territory on its own.
