| Panthers candidates accuses Marh RO of bias | | | EarlY Times Report Jammu, Dec 12- JKNPP candidate from Marh Constituency Anita Thakur today leveled serious charges against the Returning Officer Rajesh Kumar for trespassing the venue of the public meeting and using abusive and objectionable language and forcing the gathering to leave the venue.
In a communication addressed to the state Governor, N N Vohra, the JKNPP candidate said that Rajesh Kumar Returning officer trespassed into the venue of Panthers Party rally at Kanachak, where Anita Thakur is a party candidate. This was approximately 4.40 PM when, the said Returning Officer started shouting and abusing in highly objectionable language and ordered the people to vacate the place. He ordered my Security Driver to remove the lighting from the bulletproof Security Vehicle adding that he (RO) ordered a Sub-Inspector to teach Prof. Bhim Singh a lesson. The said Police Officer picked up an Iron rod and rushed towards me and damaged my bullet proof car adding that it was the driver of the vehicle who saved from their wrath, Anita Takur in her communication alleged.
‘I seek Governor’s personal and immediate intervention in bringing the culprits to book, besides immediate removal of the returning officer for his misconduct’, Anita in the communication said.
