Joint Director CBC, J&K, Ladakh Region reviews working of CBC J&K and its’ field Offices

Jammu, Aug 30: Joint Director, Central Bureau of Communication, J&K & Ladakh Region, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Sh. Ghulam Abbas today reviewed working and functioning of CBC Regional Office and its’ Field Offices across J&K & Ladakh Region in a review meeting held at Regional Office, CBC, Jammu.
A separate review was also taken after concluding the month long outreach programmes on ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga' organized by CBC, Jammu & it’s field units across various districts of UTs of J&K and Ladakh. The feedback & achievements gained were also discussed.
During the meeting, proposed publicity programme for Navratri Festival 2023, which is held every year during the Navratris at Katra was also discussed. During the meeting, Joint Director discussed administrative and financial matters with the officials and officers of CBC Regional Office and its’ Field Offices and stressed that the Field Offices must vigorously organize series of programmes under various themes like Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav (AKAM), and programmes on various welfare schemes of Government of India. In the meeting, Joint Director was apprised of various issues faced by the field units while conducting various programmes on different themes across J&K & Ladakh Region. At the end, a condolence meeting was held to pay homage to the deceased wife of Sh. Bansi Lal Gupta, former senior staff member of this Department, who expired last night at Udhampur . The meeting was attended by FPO Udhampur, Khursheed Yousuf, Administrative Officer, Sh. Ram Kishen, and other officials of Regional Office Jammu and its’ Field Offices.
