Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L. Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said the current statistics on the rise in suicides and mental health issues has led the government to take the much required action for drug demand reduction. Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, the flagship campaign of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment is an initiative in this stride. The Abhiyaan has been valiantly fighting against the baleful repercussions of substance abuse at the ground level with the support of local administration, master volunteers, online competitions and several events. It has been evident that mental health disorders need to be addressed to build a healthy society that contributes to the national growth and development. Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan is an efficacious attempt to fight against substance abuse and raise awareness for healthy lifestyles & also said I am happy to know the initiative taken up by the BLSKS, I hope and pray that this programs will be fruitful and Bharat will be a No.1 drug free country, If possible we all would like to take part in this Abhiyaan as a workers. 'Drugs take you to hell, disguised as heaven'. This statement defines the meaning of drugs accurately in one single line. You might think that not everyone takes drugs, but surprisingly this has become a lifestyle of some people. You might believe that this happens only in movies or with movie stars, but that is just a far-fetched reality. Drugs are very much a part of people who were normal once upon a time, due to many different reasons.
