Ganesh Chaturthi celebration commences

JAMMU, Aug 31: Shree Ganesh Mahautsav (Ganesh Chaturthi), an auspicious Hindu Festival is celebrated throughout the world by Hindus every year with great Pomp and Show on 4rth of Bhadarpad Month and likewise this religious function is being celebrated in Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar Jammu.To day the 31st August 2022 Sh Ganesh Maha Utsav celebrations started by installing a beautiful Murti of Lord Ganesha with the chanting of Religeous Mantras by thr learned Shastris. It needs to be mentioned here that the whole complex was decorated profusely.
After installation of Lord Ganeshas Murti, Special Maha Arti was performed wherein besides President, Member Trustees/Spl Invitees and a large number of devotees participated both in Installation of Murti and Maha Arti. Earlier a beautiful Kalash Yatra was taken out round about Temples Complex followed by beautiful action song related to Lord Ganesha was presented by the students of Rich Harvest Shool Bari Brahman under the guidance of teachers.
With the Installation of Lords Murti now Shree Ganesh Puja and Maha Arti in Mandir will continue for coming ten days up to 9th of August,2022 and hereafter on 10th of August Lord Ganeshas Murti will be taken in a well decorated vehicle to Akhnoor and will be immersed in River Chenam with Religious Mantras.
SC Rekhi General Secretary Trust appealed to all members/Spl Invitees and other members for Ensuring their participation during the whole programme for making this function a grand success.
