| St. Peter School celebrates annual sports day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 13: St. Peter’s High School of B.C Road celebrated its ‘Annual Sports Day’ with great zeal and enthusiasm with excellent performance by the students. A colourful evening was served to the audience, to relish and enjoy the hard toil put by the talented Petrines. On the occasion variety of programmes were prosecuted by the students along with number of sports items which included races for kids like banana race, sack race, and frog race which stole the show. This programme ‘Save Planet’ won a great deal of applause from the audience. There was vivacity in the performance put forth by the children who performed ‘aerobic exercises’. Each heart skipped a beat to see the performance of children presenting mass P.T. dance depicting ‘Maharashtra Culture’. To grace the occasion chief education officer Suresh Sharma was the chief guest and Rt. Rev. Dr. Peter Celestine OFM CAP. President Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar education society was the guest of honour. In his address CEO highlighted the need of providing education to all, so that our state can progress. He insisted on providing quality education to the children, who are our future. He also appreciated Rev. Fr. Ivan Pereira, Principal who is leaving no stone unturned in this direction. Moreover, Rank Holders of Class X & VIII were also felicitated on this occasion. Principal of School read out the annual report and threw light on the various fields of progress and development in which school has excelled. |
