Jammu, Sept 5: Today, on the eve of teachers Day, A function was organised at Institute of dental sciences, Sehora, Jammu.
Principal of the college Sr. Sarabjeet Singh presided the function accompanied by other faculty members. All interns and students were also present on this occasion.
The program began with the welcome speech by an intern and red roses were given to all the teachers/staff as a token of respect.This was followed by an innovative inauguration where the intern delivered a snippet highlighting the role of Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ji and his contributions laying the basis of this day.
It was followed by the speeches of Principal,Coordinator and Director sharing their ideas and experience giving inspiration to all the students vis a vis highlighting the role of a teacher in a society.
Various fun activites/games were also conducted and prizes were given to the winners.In the end,vote of thanks was presented and teachers were felicitated as well. The whole programme was organised by the cultural committee including Dr.Chanan Gupta, Dr. Bela Mahajan, Dr. Sarang Khajuria, Dr. Esha Bali, Dr. Sourav Saini, Dr.Syed Raheela, Dr. Deeksha Kudyar and Dr. Gurdeep Singh, Dr Kamaljeet and interns namely Sonali, Ayushi, Shefali, Ayushman, Simran, Pirakshi and Shantanu. |
