| Charges framed against Co-op Manager | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec13-Framing charges against the then Manager Cooperative, Surankote, for misappropriating Rs 6, 86, 111 by making false entries in the record of the society and retaining amounts of other societies/dealers during his period as manager of the society and thereby committing offence punishable u/s 409 RPC and 5(2) r/w 5(1) (c) PC Act and, the Special Judge Anti Corruption B L Bhat today directed for trial of the case.
Court heard CPO Purshtom Sharma appearing for the Vigilance Organization and also perused the final report with documents forming part of the main challan ordered for framing charges. The material assembled during investigation for the limited purpose of ascertaining whether there are grounds for presuming that the accused Parvesh Kumar Kandhari son of Sain Dass is guilty of offences alleged against him, Court find that prima-facie commission of offences u/s 409 RPC and 5(2) r/w 5(1) (c) PC Act is disclosed against the accused. With these observations Court framed charges against the accused. JNF |
