DDC Reasi meets public at Panchayat Ghar Kotli Manotrian in Block Reasi

REASI, Sept 7: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today conducted a Public outreach camp at Panchayat Ghar Kotli Manotrian of block Reasi as part of the weekly block Diwas programme.
The Deputy Commissioner started the day’s proceedings by interacting with the PRIs and locals. She listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redressal of the genuine issues.
Prominent issues raised at the meeting included maintenance of Higher Secondary School, posting of Urdu and Economic teachers at Kotli Manotrian, up-gradation of sub-centre to PHC, opening of PHC at Karuva, renovation of road connecting to Baba Dhansar, meeting shortage of staff in educational institutions, opening of Anganwadi Centre at Ward No. 05, provision of water supply in Schools, improving the condition of road from Karva to Upper Kotli.
Several issues of Water, Power, Road, Ration, Transport, Nutrition, Education, Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers and for several other issues DC fixed timeline for their resolution.
The Deputy Commissioner also passed directions for completion of developmental works within stipulated time. Golden Cards were also distributed by the Health Department.
The camp was also attended by BDC Chairperson Nirmla Devi; ADDC, Jyoti Salathia; AD Tourism, Ambika Bali; ACD , CHO , CMO, CEO, DSHO, LMO, Tehsildar, XENs among various other district officers along with PRIs, BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
