| Jammu being ignored in all respects: Swaran | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec13: Coming down heavily on successive governments for ignoring the interests of Jammu province in all the respects, Jammu State Morcha leader and its contesting candidate from Jammu East, Swaran Sharma has said that it was the opportune time for the Jammuites to support JSM (P) so that its people can see the end of a dark tunnel.
Addressing series of election rallies across her constituency on Saturday, Swaran Sharma said that the appeasing policies of all the governments since independence have cost Jammu people very dearly and the plight of the people of province was a direct result of these policies.
She said that the leaders of Congress, NC, PDP and BJP could give Jammu people nothing except hollow slogans and speeches.
"Where are the equitable rights, the leaders of Congress, NC, PDP and BJP are talking about, why is not there equitable representation of Jammu in State Legislative Assembly even after having more area than Kashmir division of state and why did not any political party of state raise any voice against the discrimination," she asked.
Criticizing National Conference, she said that although the leaders of this political party claim vociferously about the equitable rights of the people of all the provinces but deferring the implementation of delimitation commission demonstrates their discriminative attitude towards the people of Jammu, she added.
She further said that BJP only makes speeches in favor of Jammu people but they either retreat or watch every thing mutely when Jammu people are pushed against the wall.
She said that it was the wrong policies of Congress, NC and BJP which are responsible for the miseries of the Jammu people. |
