| Panthers say admn biased it | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec14: State President JKNPP Bansi Lal Sharma has strongly accused the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Kishtwar for refusing any accommodation last night to Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman JKNPP and Member of National Integration Council. Prof. Singh had to spend night in a private house without any Police Guard on security, he added. The SP Police told Prof. Singh that he was not responsible for his security while the Deputy Commissioner locked the doors of Dak Bungalow saying that election observers have taken all rooms in the Dak Bungalow even the incharge DSP security headquarter Kishtwar refused fuel or the security vehicles, Sharma alleged. After having failed to get any response even from the IG Police, Jammu, the Panthers chief had to cancel his tour to Paddar, the state president said. Sharma has urged Chief Electoral Officer to intervene and initiative appropriate action against the culprits and in the meantime the party has also brought the callous attitude of the administration to the notice of the Election Commission of India. In the meanwhile, Prof. Singh accompanied by S. Daljit Singh General Secretary JKNPP addressed election rallies at Kishtwar, Thathri, Doda, Bhadarwah, and other places in support of the Panthers Party candidates and accused the state administration for sabotaging election campaign of the party. |
