JKPCC chief, working president address workers gathering in Banihal
9/13/2022 12:14:30 AM
Early Times Report
BANIHAL, Sept 12: JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani , JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla Monday addressed huge workers convention in Banihal. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Ex Youth President Pranav Shagotra, Latish Sharma, Jahanzaib Sirwal, Imtiyaz Ahmed Khanday, Bashir Ahmed Naik, Rashida Begum, Abdul Rashid Manash, Shafiq Ahmed Kotach, Farooq Ahmed Wani, Karlip Singh Bali, Reyaz Ahmed Wani, Fayaz Ahmed Khan beside others.
Addressing a mammoth gathering of Congress workers and supporters, JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani launched scathing attacks against BJP and the parties who have allied with the right wing party in the past. In his address he said that, "BJP ever since getting access to power in Delhi had been on a rampage of dispossessing and disempowering common people of Jammu and Kashmir. It's not about a particular community or a sect, they have went berserk against all of us collectively. We have been used as political cannon fodders by BJP all across the country."Vikar while criticising other parties added that, "Parties who have allied with BJP cannot be trusted by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The modus operandi of these parties is to speak against them while out of power and Kashmir then ally with them once in power. The blueprint of Nagpur was only executed in Jammu and Kashmir by the help of parties to BJP who actually have no political and ideological standing. If they did it once they're fully capable of doing it again, the people of Jammu and Kashmir have only one option to fight this monster of hate and discrimination, that option is the Indian National Congress; the only party which hasn't and which will never cozy with BJP." Vikar Rasool Wani also criticized the "leaders whose political career is at its dusk but are still busy in implementing the Nagpur's agenda in Jammu and Kashmir."
Wani speaking on the occasion claimed that people want change, as BJP has failed on all fronts of governance especially unchecked price rise, record unemployment besides other anti- employees, anti- trade, anti- poor politics in J&K. He said that people of all sections are completely fed up with the BJP's performance in the Govt and its anti- youth, anti- poor and anti- people polices, as there is uncontrolled price rise, record unemployment in J&K, besides anti- employees, anti- trade, anti- farmers and anti- people policies of BJP. He said that Congress has been on fore front to oppose the anti- people policies being imposed on the people through back door by the bureaucrats Govt, as there is no elected Govt in J&K for three and half years, now the people of different sections are being forced to swallow the bitter pills, as they have no representation or forum to raise their voice against the anti people policies of the BJP through bureaucratic system.Having failed to give employment to highest number of percentage of educated unemployed youth, the Centre Govt and UT Administration is beating about bushes and finding faults in the past Govts. They enticed daily wagers and casual workers with false and fake Jumlas and hope to seek votes and come to power and later betrayed them for 8 years. Wani accused the central government of ruining the economy and destroying the business culture of the country. She slammed BJP government for plunging J&K into unprecedented political uncertainty by failing to maintaining law and order, adopting anti-people policies and indulging in politics of hate.
JKPCC Chief said that people of all sections have turned against BJP, that is why elections are being delayed fear of losing elections. Congress party stands for change and people will throw out BJP in next assembly elections, he claimed. He said people had no representation or forum to raise their voice against the anti-people policies of the BJP.He cornered the BJP government over various issues. He slammed the BJP government for using public money for polishing their own image through massive advertisement. The fact is that the BJP government has failed to deliver to the people on all fronts and would be wiped out of J&K whenever assembly elections take place here. He said Congress will create awareness among the general public about the failures of the government and the drawbacks of not having the status of being a state. He said that Jammu has witnessed huge setbacks due to the revocation of statehood by the BJP Government including the seizing of jobs, land, and the suppression of political and civil rights.
