IRP organises medical awareness camp

JAMMU, Sept 12: A medical awareness camp was organized by the Commandant of IRP 18th Bn. Kulbir Singh SSP at Battalion Headquarter in which a team from Police Hospital Jammu delivered lectures for maintaining good health condition and how to save ourselves prior to medication. The camp was attended by officers and other officials of IRP 18th battalion.
During the interactive session the Police personnel also raised various queries which were effectively resolved by the medical team. In the meeting doctors shared health tips. Some of the personnel also shared their health conditions with the doctors to which doctors gave proper suggestions.
In their lectures the visiting doctors Dr Sunil Kumar Raina (Physician), Dr Sadaf Maheen (Dental Surgeon) & Physiotherapist Kriti Gupta emphasized upon Police personnel to actively make use of facilities available at the J&K Police Hospital Jammu. The doctors said that under the supervision of Medical Superintendent Dr Meenakshi Kotwal, Police Hospital Jammu will provide full support to the police personnel and their family members during their treatment.
Speaking on the occasion the Commandant IRP 18th Bn. Kulbir Singh heartily thanked the Superintendent Police Hospital Jammu and the visiting doctors & medical team. He advised the police personnel to avail benefits of the facilities available at J&K Police Hospital Jammu.
