| BJP welcomes Sinha’s statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec14: Welcoming the statement of former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt. Gen (Retd) S.K.Sinha exposing the PDP and its leader Mufti Mohammed Sayeed on healing touch policy said that “it was a good thing”, but let their be healing touch for the victims of terrorism rather than terrorists. Ramesh Arora further said that the former Governor has further exposed the policies of central as well as state government by saying that “so, in 2007, one of the decisions taken was to provide pension benefits to the families of insurgents killed in encounters. Now this does not happen any where in the world! You provide pension to families of security personnel who get killed on duty, not to the terrorists. But then this is the warped approach of the government of India”, he is quoted to have said. Ramesh Arora stated that people should understand from the above facts who stands for nation and who stand for militants. He said BJP stands for unity and integrity of the state and the country and cannot compromise national interest as the other parties and their leaders are doing. |
