| Ajat addresses series of meetings in Nagrota | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec14: Ajatshatru Singh, Former Minister and National Conference Candidate from Nagrota assembly segment while addressing a series of public meetings today at Nagrota, Behra, Garhi Brahmana, Bhoopa Talab, Aghore, Moh. Kohlian, Moh. Buti Ram, Chak Singha and Moh. Jogian (Jandial Thathi) flayed Congress, BJP and PDP for their divisive policies and alleged that these parties have always tried to create communal tension among the masses trying to divide people on communal and regional lines and this is what these parties are again trying to repeat in these elections. He added that the people must reject such parties who play communal card for seeking votes and people shall cast their votes only for development irrespective of caste, creed, region or religion. As per a release, while addressing impressive gatherings at the above said places, Ajatshatru Singh claimed that National Conference is the only party which has the will to really work for the welfare of the masses and which can ensure equitable development of all the three regions of the State apart from the providing basic amenities of life like potable drinking water, better road connectivity, better health facilities and electricity etc. in the far-flung areas of the State while erstwhile Congress led coalition regime had only added to the miseries of general masses, especially those living in the far-flung areas of the state. Asserting that the unemployment has reached at an alarming level during the last six years, Singh said despite tall claims and promises made to the people of the state during the past elections, the Congress led coalition regime had completely failed to eradicate the menace of unemployment in the last six years of its regime. Highlighting the policies and plans drafted by party head, Sing said that if voted to power, National Conference shall deal with the problem of unemployment with a comprehensive plan and the employment package drafted by National Conference party would not only be for the educated class, but it will also cover the youth having qualification of middle and secondary school belonging to the far flung areas of the state, the release added. |
