| DC Jammu reviews status of land Registration, digitization of Jamabandies | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 16: Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa today chaired a meeting of SDMs and Sub-Registrars of Jammu district to review the status of online land Registration process, here at DC office.
Threadbare discussions were held regarding the ongoing Registration process and other related issues in Jammu district. The revenue officers briefed the chair about the present status of the online Registration process and problems being faced by them during the process.
The Deputy Commissioner exhorted upon the revenue officers to take all measures for making the registration process fool proof and to avoid any inconvenience to the people. She asked them to bring efficiency and transparency in the online registration process.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner also held a meeting to review the present status of digitization of Jamabandies in Tehsils of the District.
The DC stressed upon revenue authorities to formulate effective strategy to utilize the field functionaries to achieve the target in a time bound manner.
ADDC (L&O), Harvinder Singh; ADC Jammu, Satish Kumar Sharma, SDMs, Tehsildars besides other concerned officers and officials were present in the meeting. |
