DBN Amarvilla celebrates Grand parents Day

Jammu, Sept 16: “What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humour, comfort, lessons in life.”
A special day was dedicated to dear grandparents of tiny tots of the kindergarten, where they were specially invited to witness a scintillating program presented by their grandchildren.
The warmth of their abundant love could be felt. The zealous tiny tots of DBN Amarvilla presented a vibrant and mesmerizing show. The young children expressed their love, respect, and gratitude towards their grandparents through various dance performances.
A grandparent is a little bit parent, a little bit teacher, and also the best friend.100% participation of all the kindergarten kids developed sheer excitement and enthusiasm that could be felt in the air – every face bubbling with energy wanted to showcase the admiration for their loving grandparents that found an outlet in the form of their dances. The children showcased their performance with the theme that nourishes the healthy and everlasting relationship of the grandchildren with their Grandparents.
The day was celebrated on 16th September 2022. The program started with presenting a planter to the chief guest as DBN Amarvilla believes that Plants are bounty of nature which express humanity and tenderness of human emotions. They reflect warmth and welcome.
The chief guest Dr. Usha Kher DSP Jammu & Kashmir who graced the occasion with her presence and applauded the tireless efforts made by the little DBNites. She also remembered and dedicated a song to the brave warriors that mesmerised and left each one emotional. Principal DBN Amarvilla, Ms Ranju Malhotra in her welcome speech addressed the audience thanking the chief guest in uniform, for inspiring the toddlers with her grounded nature and her service in the society.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Manager Trust DBN Vidya Mandir Mr. Rajindra Kakkar and Assistant Manager Trust DBN Vidyamandir, Mr. Darshan Lal Sharma. Shri Rajender Kakkar, wholeheartedly appreciated the efforts made by all the grandparents, teachers, and the little grandchildren and appreciated the grandparents for instilling the moral values in their grand children.
Ms Sunna Sayal, the Academic Coordinator thanked all the dignitaries while presenting the vote of thanks. She also engaged the happy grandparents in a small Antakshari before culminating the entire programme.
