JK reports 31 fresh positive cases, 473912 recovered

SRINAGAR, Sept 16: The Government today informed that 31 fresh positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 12 from Jammu division and 19 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases to 478925.
Moreover, 51more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 20 from Jammu division and 31 from Kashmir division. Also, 8,675 doses of COVID Vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across Jammu and Kashmir to 2,45,21,380.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 478925 positive cases, 229 are Active Positive (104 in Jammu Division and 125in Kashmir Division), 473912 have recovered and 4784 have died; 2351 in Jammu division and 2433in Kashmir division.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that in Kashmir division, Srinagar reported 11 cases, Baramulla reported 02 cases, Budgam 03 cases, Pulwama reported 02 cases, Kupwara reported 00 case, Anantnag reported 00 case, Bandipora reported 00 case, Ganderbal reported 00 cases, Kulgam reported 01 case and Shopian also reported no fresh cases for today.
Similarly in Jammu division, Jammu reported 07 cases, Udhampur 02, Rajouri 00, Doda 01, Kathua 01, Samba 00, Kishtwar 00, Poonch 00, Ramban 01 and Reasi also reported no fresh cases for today. The bulletin informs that in case of any help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralised Health Helpline- Toll Free No. 104.In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while as pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialling toll free number 102, the bulletin reads.
It also informs that the public can reach national helpline by dialling 1075.
