| Alert at railway station without CCTV cameras | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 14 : Jammu railway station has been put on alert following the inputs of militancy related activities.Security men have been deputed in each and every corner of the railway station. But ironically all this is going on without CCTV cameras. Early Times when contacted to the IG Railways MA Anjum he said that we have not received any threatening calls by any outfits but in order to thwart any untoward incident security has been beefed up. He said that checking of the trains is regular and for the purpose service of dog squad is pressed regularly. But when asked why CCTV cameras are notinstalled. He said that it is the duty of Northern Railways to install CCTV cameras and for the purpose he had meeting with the officers but till date not even a single CCTV camera has been installed. |
