| Awareness camp for renewal energy resources at Chowgam | | |
Srinagar, Sept 16 - To create awareness among the general masses about the use and utility of renewal energy resources, a training cum awareness camp was organized under Integrated Rural Energy Planning Programme by the Science and Technology department at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Chowgam today.
The benefits of non-conventional sources of energy for day-to-day requirements were highlighted. It was said that the department has already taken up the conducting of survey for installation of Microhydel Projects to generate power from non-conventional energy resources. A large number of students and locals participated in the camp. |
