Jammu, Sept 25: Jammu & Kashmir Govt Pharmacist Association, Jammu celebrated World Pharmacist Day at Press Club, Jammu under the Presidentship of Mr. Sushil Sudan State President JKGPA & Executive Member of Pharmacy Council of India.
The Chief Guest of the Programme is Dr. Saleem –Ur – Rehman Director General Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization Director Health Services,Jammu and guest of honour is Kulbhushan Singh Chouhan Ex Pharmacist.They inaugurated the function with enlightened the lamp.
This special day was established by International Pharmaceutical Federation. This Year theme developed by International Pharmaceutical Federation is : Pharmacy United in action for a healthier world . The theme of World Pharmacist day emphasis that pharmacist are a trusted source of knowledge and advice, not only for patient but for other healthcare professional for every patient who walks to a pharmacy, Pharmacist ensure that the right medicine is provided at the right Patient , right doses and right route, right time. Every year three million Pharmacists around the world acts as partner to patients and serve to the suffering humanity around the world. This occasion is a celebration for every pharmacist.
Dr. Saleem–Ur–Rehman Director General Family Welfare, MCH and Immunization and Director Health Services,Jammu and Mr Kulbhushan singh Chouhan Ex- Pharmacist shared their valuable experiences with the pharmacists and also extended their best wishes to all pharmacist of UT of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh hoping that they will continue to serve the society with great zeal & dedication.
