| Virender intensifies campaigning in Jammu west | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16- Intensifying his election campaign, Prof. Virender Gupta, President JSM (P) and candidate for the Jammu West constituency addressed gatherings at Gurha, Bhagwati Nagar, Mohinder Nagar and Bakshi Nagar areas. From personal interaction with people, he observed that the condition of electricity and water supply in these areas was very poor and erratic. Lack of these basic amenities was causing problems for these areas and needed urgent attention. He promised to look into these matters and appealed to people to vote in his favour enabling him to seek a permanent solution for their hardships. He said that only JSM (P) has the clear intention to resolve the immediate local issues and fight a decisive battle for the desires and aspirations of people of Jammu region. However, he reiterated the JSM (P)’s demand and stressed that only separate statehood for Jammu region shall be able to address the grievances of the people in a complete and proper manner.
