| Poll parties despatched in Kishtwar, Bhadarwah | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, DECEMBER 16 – As many as 162 polling parties along with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and other election-related material have been despatched to their respective polling stations in the two Assembly constituencies in Kishtwar district. Giving details about the despatch of polling parties to the polling stations in Kishtwar district, the District Election Officer (DEO), Kishtwar, Mr. Sudarshan Sharma said that out of the 203 poll parties deployed in Inderwal and Kishtwar Assembly constituencies of the district, 162 have already left for their respective polling stations, leaving only 41 poll parties, which were despatched today. He said that the poll parties for the polling stations in the far-flung areas of Marwah, Warwan and Padder have already been airlifted. The DEO said that an Election Control Room is functioning at the district headquarters for dissemination of election-related information with telephone number-01995-259853. Meanwhile, in Bhadarwah Assembly constituency of Doda district, as many as 126 polling parties along with EVMs and other election-related material have been despatched to different polling stations. The first group comprising 67 polling parties was despatched to their respective polling stations yesterday, while another group of 59 polling parties was despatched to their respective polling stations this morning.
