Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: The prolonged protest of All Jammu Based Reserve Category Employees for suitable comprehensive transfer policy enters 125th day at Ambedkar Chowk Jammu.
The employees celebrated Gandhi Jayanti at Ambedkar chowk with zeal and zest. All these employees are protesting peacefully for last 125 days to meet their demand of transfer policy. They are following the path of AHINSA (non violence) as propounded by Mahatma Gandhi and they bank on LG Administration that their genuine demand will be addressed very soon.
They further added that they welcome Home Minister Amit Shah enthusiastically in Jammu and Kashmir. The employees are very optimistic that Amit Shah Ji will intervene in the matter of transfer policy of Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees working in Kashmir Division and hopefully L.G Administration will redress this long pending demand of Dogra employees.
Prime Minister Narender Modi always say that JAAN HAI TO JAHAN HAI. These employees act on words of their great Prime Minister and struggling at Ambedkar Chowk to save their lives to safeguard their fundamental right i.e. Right to Life guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India. Right to life is one of the most important rights that the Constitution guarantees.
The Supreme Court of India has described this right as the 'heart of fundamental rights'.
They further added that some DDO's in Kashmir especially they talked about DDO's of Rural Development Department, Forest Department and Health Department who are forcing the employees to resume their duties and threatened strict action despite of continuous target killing of minorities and policemen. These DDO's have stopped the salaries of minority employees. AJBRCEAK demands strict action against such DDO's who are bothering these victimized minority employees.
