Dogri Sanstha organizes multilingual Kahani Goshthi

JAMMU, Oct 3: Dogri Sanstha Jammu, a pioneer organization working for promotion of mother tongue Dogri and regional cultural since 1944 organized multilingual Kahani Goshthi online, in which prominent short story writers of different languages enamored the story lovers with their thought provoking and beautiful short stories.
The program started with Sahitya Akademi awarded prolific dogri writer Shiv Mehta who presented his well knitted short story 'KALAAPA' about loneliness that haunts when wife gets departed to eternal abode and husband is left behind all alone looking for solace from any source. After that Jiten Thakur, a well known name in Hindi literature presented his short story 'DURDAANT' revolving around the harsh realities that we all are undergoing at present time. It was symbolic and well woven around the burning issues of these days. The Kahani Gosthi concluded with prominent rajasthani writer Malchand Divadi's beautiful short story' PATRIYAN', that was translated from originally written in rajasthani into Hindi by writer himself who has been awarded with prestigious Sahitya Akademi award also.
While presiding over multi Lingual kahani Goshthi, Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu complemented all story writers saying that they are well known litterateurs in their respective languages. He said that such programs wherein the celebrated writers present their creative works will surely be beneficial for the writers of the soil as they will get an idea of the literature of the different regions and will get inspired from their works. He further added that Sanstha is bound to connect with different regional languages through such interactions for development of own language.
The program was conducted by Rajeshwar Singh 'Raju', eminent English, Hindi and Dogri writer and General Secretary Dogri Sanstha Jammu. He said that Sanstha will continue organizing such program online as well as offline in future also to con
